The recreation area offers routes for all skill levels. Offering sweeping views of Casper and the surrounding areas at the top and waterfalls, peaks and rivers during the hike up, you could spend well over a few hours exploring this mountain.
Bridle Trail
After exploring the trails center head to Rotary Park for a popular hiking adventure. The 4.5-mile Bridle Trail rewards adventurers with scenic views of the city and the beautiful Garden Creek Falls.

Day two includes another one of the area’s most popular museums and a microbrewery. We’ve also added a stop for learning about iconic pioneer trails, which will really pay off on day three.

Independence Rock State Historic Site
