Skiing & Snowboarding

When it comes to incredible powder, epic downhill terrain and sunshine-filled days, Wyoming is a destination unlike any other. Professional and novice skiers and riders from all over the world visit Wyoming for some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the country. Well-known destinations like Jackson Hole Mountain Resort offer thousands of skiable acres, from backcountry bowls to groomed runs and park features. Lesser-known resorts such as Snowy Range Ski Area near Laramie and Hogadon Ski Area in Casper offer the same thrills on a smaller scale, which means smaller crowds and smaller lift prices, as well. Wyoming has mountains spread across the state, allowing for different weather patterns to create the perfect conditions in at least one of Wyoming’s 10 ski areas.
