Hams Fork Campground
Kemmerer | Salt to Stone
The Hams Fork Campground (8,000 feet elev.) is located 44 miles north of Kemmerer, with the last 26 miles on gravel road. The campground is right off the Big Spring Scenic Backway, near the willow-bottomed Hams Fork River. This area offers excellent moose-viewing opportunities, as well as several other recreational activities. Weekdays are generally quiet, with most visitor use occurring on the weekends.
