Elephant Head Lodge

Cody | Black to Yellow

A small double diamond AAA log-cabin rural mountain resort located 11.7 miles outside the East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park and 40 miles west of Cody, Wyoming. We are your family's Yellowstone vacation base camp, with 15 cabins that house 2-8 people per cabin, and 5 have kitchenettes. We are on the national register of historical sites, as Buffalo Bill Cody's niece Josephine Thurston and her husband built and started the lodge in 1910. It has since been modernized with each cabin having it's own bathroom(s). Settle in, read, relax, and have a great meal. Trail ride horseback, walk to the river, head to the Park, fish, hike, view wildlife and scenery, take photos and videos, and make lifelong memories based out of the Elephant Head Lodge.
