Sheridan | Black to Yellow

Since 1931, the Sheridan WYO Rodeo has been celebrating life out west. Located at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds, just north of the stunning Bighorn Mountains, the PRCA-sanctioned Sheridan WYO Rodeo is a major stop on the rodeo trail for top cowboys and cowgirls from all over the country. Guests from across the globe come to enjoy Rodeo Week activities and the high-octane professional rodeo action and World Championship Indian Relay Races from Wednesday through Saturday evening. There’s also a nightly carnival and Fan Zone experience adjacent to the arena each night at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds.

This year’s Sheridan WYO Rodeo week runs July 13-18, with four nights of high-octane, PRCA rodeo action and World Championship Indian Relay Races from July 14-17. WYO Rodeo week features the annual Boot Kick Off at Whitney Commons on July 9, Carnival at the Fairgrounds each night of the rodeo, plus Main Street Bed Races, Sneakers & Spurs 5K, Saddle Up for the WYO Rodeo Main Street Parade, Native American Pow Wow, Duck Races and Boy Scout’s Pancake Breakfast on Friday, July 16.
