West Tensleep Lake Campground - Bighorn National Forest
Ten Sleep | Black to Yellow
Located 20 miles northeast of Ten Sleep, Wyoming on U.S. Hwy. 16, then 7 miles north on F 27. Elevation is 9,100 feet, expect cold evenings. 10 sites, average spur 35' (25-40') Site 9 is tent only. Accesible restrooms and drinking water available, no public showers. Pets are welcome but must be on leash. Non-motorized boating allowed. Parking for wilderness trailhead at no charge. Season runs from approximately June 5th – Sept. 15th. Reservations are accepted at www.recreation.gov or by phone at 877-444-6777. Reservations are recommended as this is one of the busiest trailheads on the forest.
