The Cody Theatre

The Cody Theatre is located in downtown Cody, Wyoming. Built in 1936 with an Art Deco theme; it is a fully equipped movie theatre but since 2015 it has been a unique rental venue for live performing arts, concerts, documentaries, and fundraisers. 2021 the performing arts group; The Cody Theatre Company was formed and performs only at The Cody Theatre. Since the summer of 2016, locals & tourists of all ages have come enjoy a LIVE night of entertainment in these historic walls, Awarded Best Wild West Show, Wild West Spectacular is a historically based, comedic LIVE musical about legendary Buffalo Bill Cody and his world famous Wild West Show. This full-length original production features William F Cody (AKA Buffalo Bill, our towns namesake; along with other famous colorful characters from the Wild West. To top off this unique experience; during intermission, audience members can interact with the cast in character and belly up to the stage bar for a sarsaparilla!
