Seidel's Saddlery

Seidel’s Saddlery is a real working saddle shop, where we actually build saddles from the saddle tree up. Keith Seidel is an award winning saddle maker, raised in Cody, Wyoming and makes very ornate, hand carved saddles the old-fashioned way—one at a time. The upstairs saddle shop in their historic building (next to the Irma Hotel) in Cody, Wyoming is where romance and tradition are combined to create functional art. Keith Seidel has been a full time saddle maker and leather craftsman for over 40 years. He is a recipient of the 2018 Wyoming Governor’s Arts Award for Excellence and also 2012 “Saddle maker of the Year” award presented by the Academy of Western Artists.

We are available by phone and by appointment Monday – Friday, 10-5. Special appointments can be made to tour our saddle shop and visit about leather work that you would like made. 307-587-1200.
