Platte River Campground

Platte River Campground, family friendly, pets welcome. In addition to being open year round and right on the North Platte River, is that we offer many different styles of camping-enough to please any camper. Full drive through hook-ups, self contained sights and beautiful walk in tent sights right on the river. We offer tube and kayak rentals. Floating parties include floating the North Platte River, group camp sight, camp fire and BBQ. We offer hiking trips to the Historical Rock in the Glen where you go back to the 1800's and see some of the names and traces of the 350,000 emigrants who traveled Westward through this valley. We have the Wyoming Pioneer Memorial Museum, Glenrock's Paleontological Museum, the famous Historical Higgins Hotel and Paisley Shawl plus many many more historical sights. We have great restaurants close by. A full grocery store with anything you may have forgotten. We are a private campground, friendly staff and excited to have you as our guest.
