Lily Lake Campground

Cody | Black to Yellow

First come, first served, 16-day limit campsites. This is grizzly bear country; practice safe food storage techniques. Opening date subject to change due to weather conditions. North Zone Ranger District. Elevation reaches 6,900 feet.

Lily Lake is located at 6,900 ft elevation. There are 8 camping sites dispersed around Lily Lake on the border of the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness. You will find great trout fishing in the lake and a primitive boat ramp. Some picnic tables are provided. Additional activities are canoeing, wildlife viewing, horse riding, and scenic views.

No set fee, but donations are accepted.

Directions to Lily Lake from Cody, take WY 120 17 miles north to WY 296, 47 miles northwest to US 212, then 1 mile northeast on Forest Road 128. Latitude:44.94504 Longitude: -109.71377

Notes: 22-foot maximum RV length. Please pack out your trash.
