Hettinger Group Area - Bighorn National Forest

14.5 miles West of Buffalo, Wyoming, on U.S. Highway 16. (-106.9517 x 44.29.72) Elevation is 7,600. Hettinger Group Area is available for camping and large group day use by reservation only. 4 sites available for group use. Drinking water and restrooms available. No showers, phones, or electricity. Open mid-May through mid-September. Group rates apply and depend on the number of people in the group. Reservations can be made at www.recreation.gov or by phone at 1-877-444-6777.
