Historic Hatchet Resort is located east of the Moran Junction, the gate to Grand Teton National Park; mid-way between Jackson, WY and the south entrance to Yellowstone NP. Seasonal. Open May 1 through October 15. Gas station on site, convenience store, lodge, grill and restaurant on site with the area’s most excellent food. Patio observation deck, fire pit, inside and outside seating. Closest facility of its kind outside GTNP and Yellowstone NP boundaries in the forest. Rooms range from budget to luxury suites.
