Thirty minutes outside of Kemmerer, Wyoming lies the Fossil Lake Safari operated by FossilEra Adventures. This unique experience offers visitors the opportunity to dig for plentiful fossils in one of the world’s premier fossil beds. Over a dozen species of amazingly preserved, 50 million year old fossil fish can be found in prolific numbers by splitting the rock (tools provided) in our private quarry. Our friendly team will assist in creating the ultimate Wyoming fossil hunting experience for our guests. And the best part? You get to keep the fossils you discover!
