Cottonwood Creek Ranch

We are proud to be a genuine working ranch where we raise cattle and breed horses. We love to show our guests our way of life and allow them to participate in ranch chores which can be anything from checking and moving cattle to collecting eggs each morning from the hens. The work on a ranch literally never ends so we are always doing something constructive or keeping the animals content!

We offer our guests many different options for lodging! We can accommodate groups big and small and offer options for everyone whether you want to be submersed in the activity of the ranch or prefer a more secluded spot!

The ranch also boasts event facility like non other! Wedding and Event destinations are few and far between in Wyoming, so we are pleased to present Cottonwood Creek Ranch to the public. With views of Laramie Peak as a ceremony backdrop, there’s multiple locations for a storybook event. The reception area is large enough to accommodate larger groups and there’s room for the wedding party to stay over for a weekend retreat. Complete with several reception and serving areas and ADA compliant bathrooms, this venue is perfect for any event big or small!

Guided horseback riding through the beautiful foothills of the Laramie Mountains, across some creeks and varied terrain of buttes and prairie land are also available. The horses live where we ride and are sure-footed, confident and gentle. Our guides are knowledgeable and enjoy sharing about the ranch with our guests.

Families can also enjoy the on-site fishing pond and lake house. The pond is stocked with sport fish (throwback only) and has a floating dock across the water with a lake house complete with galley style faux kitchen, covered deck with lights, patio furnishings and propane fire pit. It’s the best place on the ranch to enjoy the evenings!
