Coffeen Park Trailhead - Bighorn National Forest

Located 9.3 miles Southwest of Big Horn, Wyoming, on County Road 335, then 8 miles Southwest on Forest Road 26 (Cty 335 becomes F 26 at the Forest boundary), then 8 miles South on Forest Road 293. (-107.2431 x 44.5203) The last 2.5 miles require high-clearance, 4-wheel drive vehicles. Large horse trailers cannot access this area. Dispersed camping available. Elevation is over 8,500 feet, expect cold nights even in mid-summer. No drinking water, electricity, or phones. Access to trailhead into Cloud Peak Wilderness. Registration is required to enter the Cloud Peak Wilderness.
