HUNTING & FISHING IN THE HEART OF WYOMING
The C&E Hunt Club is located outside of Riverton, WY, between Riverton and Boysen Reservoir. It is the only large private ranch located on the east side of the famed Wind River Indian Reservation for 21 miles, bordered by the river to its west and otherwise completely surrounded by native prairie lands of the Indian reservation. The river frontage and artesian well fed streams and ponds, interspersed with cottonwood and willow woodlands, create an amazing, rich wildlife habitat for numerous species. Club members will enjoy exclusive hunting and fishing on the 850-acre family ranch and 1000 adjacent, private leased acres, all of which is antelope, deer, wild turkey and fishing habitat. You will also have access to thousands of acres of nearby BLM lands and innumerable streams, rivers and lakes.
Our cabins are available to rent from April 15 until December 1 through Airbnb and VRBO. There are two cabins available overlooking the pond. Each cabin can sleep up to six people and features a living room with electric fireplace, couch that folds out to a queen bed and flat-screen TV, fully stocked kitchen, bedroom with two queen beds, another flat-screen TV, air conditioning, separate entrance, two full bathrooms, two decks, gas grill, and wireless Internet. A WYOMING HUNTING CLUB … WITH SERIOUS PERKS
Should you decide to enroll as a member, you will be entitled to one landowner license for deer or antelope. Fremont County’s big game hunting is legendary; whether you are hunting trophy animals or for harvest, C&E Hunt Club will not disappoint. The ranch has produced seven Boone and Crockett antelope, including two in the all-time B&C record book, and regularly offers up massive mule deer and white tail bucks. The club is bordered to the east by over 500,000 acres of Wind River Indian Reservation, and to the west by rich alfalfa, corn, oat and barley fields on private farms. This ideal setting funnels game directly from the Indian reservation through the ranch’s natural wildlife sanctuary, across the river and onto the grain fields on the other side. There is nothing like the excitement of coming face to face with your prey as you stalk it through sagebrush and willows towering over your head, or landing a rainbow trout on a misty mountain morning.
TIGHT LINES
For the fishermen, whether you like streams, rivers, or lakes, world-class fishing abounds in the Big Wind River out of Dubois, Little Wind River, Popo Agie drainages, and Sweetwater River. Boysen Reservoir is one of the top three Walleye lakes in the State of Wyoming, and the nearby Wind River mountains are loaded with hundreds of lakes and streams. In addition, the Wind River is the headwaters to the famed Big Horn River and world-famous fly fishing in nearby Thermopolis where anglers reel in record-size Brown, Rainbow, and Cutthroat trout.
