Boulder Lake Campground

Boulder | Salt to Stone

Season runs approximately May 25 – Sept 15 weekend, weather permitting. Pinedale Ranger District.

No fee campground situated along Boulder Creek and bordering Boulder Lake. Sites are among lodgepole pine trees, aspens and willows. Surrounding area is sagebrush and rolling hills. Site can be accessed around mid-June via rough gravel and dirt road. Site is 7300' elevation, 20 units, RVs, trailhead access to Bridger Wilderness nearby. There is a boat ramp at lower end of lake. Activities include boating, fishing, hiking, swimming. Site has picnic tables, fire grates, vault toilets, some trailer pull throughs, tent pads. Corral ia located at nearby trailhead. Large parking area. No power or RV dump facilities. No drinking water, garbage service or phone. Low use typically, medium use during national and local holidays. Closest town with services: Boulder, 14 miles. Closest lodging: Boulder Lake Lodge, 1 mile.
