Allred Flat Campground

Allred Flat Campground is located approximately 20 miles south of Afton, Wyoming near Salt River Pass. The campground is adjacent to Little White Creek which has many beaver ponds and bird-watching opportunities. Pine and aspen trees offer partial shade and summer wildflowers are abundant. Numerous hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding trails are in the area, ranging from easy 1/2-mile long paths to challenging 14-mile trails into the backcountry. Nearby Salt River Pass offers 52 miles of scenic driving, with beautiful views of the Wyoming and Salt River Ranges. The campground contains 32 first-come, first-served campsites with a short gravelled approach off of the paved highway. Potable water via hand pumps and vault toilets are available.

The Allred Flat Picnic area is nearby and is reserveable at http://www.recreation.gov.

No trailers longer than 30 feet. About a mile down the road, a corral and trail leading north back to Afton along Spring Creek. Reservations for groups only.
