End of the Trail Kite Festival

Lets make some use of that wonderful Wyoming Wind! The Annual Pine Bluffs “End of the Trail” Kite Festival will be held on Saturday, September 28, in the beautiful Bluffs Recreation Area – 1200 S. Beech in Pine Bluffs, WY
From 11am-3pm enjoy watching Semi-Pro Kite Fliers from the American Kitefliers Association and the Rocky Mountain Kite Association as they fly their fantastic kites ranging in size and shapes and not lacking in color! Kites change from year to yeae depending upon the weather and wind speeds the day of the festival. In the past we have had “Nemo” fish kites, as big as a bus and kites that are longer than a football field! Along with the large kites there is also stunt kite, sport kite and single line kite flying demonstrations, and you are invited to bring YOUR kite to fly! If you don’t have a kite, get there early, 100 kites will be given out, free to each child 12 & under.
What would a festival be without shopping, food and free stuff? Along with all the kite flying, there will be vendors, concessions and a free “Kite Trolley”! The tractor pulled trolley travels around the kite flying area allowing participants some wonderful views of the kites from all angles.
