The oldest dude ranch in the United States, Eaton’s was created by three brothers – Howard, Willis and Alden – in 1879 in North Dakota and moved in 1904 to the current Sheridan location for a more suitable riding terrain for their ever-growing number of guests. The working cattle ranch is family oriented and family focused. Eaton’s allows guests to ride 220+ horses unescorted, and offers fishing, swimming and plenty of children’s recreation on 7,000 acres of beautiful open country with rolling hills, grassy meadows and hidden valleys. The ranch can accommodate up to 125 guests (families, couples or singles) in the 51 cabins, and offers a unique chef’s menu. Group conference facilities are available as well. eatonsranch.com
