Meeteetse’s 112th Labor Day Weekend Extravaganza! Join us Friday, August 30 with a pig roast (and shenanigans!) community dinner and awards at 6 pm in the Elkhorn Bar & Grill parking lot. On Saturday, August 31, visit the downtown craft fair from 10 am to 4 pm, cornhole tournament in the Elkhorn parking lot at 10 am, car show on Water Street from 10 am to 1 pm, and celebrate the Wyoming Cowboys kickoff game at the Elkhorn Bar & Grill at 8:30 pm. On Sunday, September 1, start the day with the Chuck Perkins Memorial Roping competition at the Meeteetse Rodeo Grounds, visit the downtown craft fair from 10 am to 4 pm, compete in the horseshoe tournament in the Elkhorn parking lot at 10 am, and be sure to enjoy a unique concert by Beacon Hill (complete with goat roping!) in the Elkhorn parking lot at 7 pm. On Labor Day, September 2, enjoy a free pancake breakfast at 8 am at the Senior Center, followed by the 112th Labor Day parade downtown at 9:30 am, street games between the Payne Art Gallery and the Fire Department at 10:30 am, the Legendary Labor Day Rodeo at the Meeteetse Rodeo Grounds at 1 pm, and the downtown craft fair from 10 am to 4 pm. Don’t miss the grand finale Duck Races at 5 pm (or following the rodeo) at the Greybull River Bridge! See you there!
