Falls Campground

Dubois | Rockies to Tetons

First come, first served, 16-day limit campsites. Elevation 8,000 feet composed of two loops, Spruce and Pine. Brook Lake Creek runs the length of the campground. This is grizzly bear country; practice safe food storage techniques. There are bear-proof containers the sites and a mandatory food storage order in place.

From Dubois, WY, take US Rt. 26/287 north 21.2 miles to campground sign. Turn left at sign into campground.

The campground, in Lodgepole pine, spruce and a few Subalpine fir. Small meadows dot the campground which provide good wildlife viewing opportunities. Brook Lake Creek runs the length of the campground to the Falls Overlook, but none of the camping sites overlook the creek. This is a good transient or base camp for visiting the Grand Teton National Park. Be sure to visit the Falls . Overlook in the campground which empties into a deep gorge.

There is good privacy between sites.

NOTE: Gas and limited groceries are available at Pinnacles Butte General Store, 2.8 miles south on US Rt. 287

The campground is in the Wind River Ranger District.
