Cody Trout Ranch Camp - RV, Tipi, and Sheep Wagon Camping

Located just five miles from Cody the Cody Trout Ranch Camp offers a truly unique vacation experience. Rent one of our spacious 20′ diameter tipis on the picturesque Shoshone river or near our stocked trout pond. We offer picnic tables, two community campfire pits, clean laundry facilities, and clean bath/shower facilities. We are the perfect home base for exploring the historic town of Cody and we are only an hour away from the east entrance to the famed Yellowstone National Park. You’ll love sitting and relaxing by a nice fire underneath the beautiful starry sky and being lulled to sleep by the sound of the running river.
If you’re the adventuresome type, you can catch your own dinner. Our Tipi camping guests may try their hand at fishing the river, on their own or with a guide and with a Wyoming fishing license. All of our guests may fish without a license in our stocked fishing pond! If you choose to keep your trout from the pond, guests must pay for the trout they keep, they start at $5 per fish. All equipment is provided for pond fishing, but if tipi guests want to fish the river, they will need their own gear. We are open from April through mid-October (depending on the weather). We are pet friendly. Whether you’re here for a few days or a few weeks, we’ll make your stay a memorable one.
