Carbon County Visitors' Council Welcome Center
Rawlins | Rockies to Tetons
Carbon County is a visit to the West. Whether the visitor’s interests lay in the vast prairie lands, or perhaps they have high expectations of adventures amidst the Rocky Mountain peaks. Visitors may be history buffs following the Overland Tail, or reincarnated gold miners from days long ago. Maybe they are fisherman with love for crystal clear rivers filled with trophy rainbow trout. Perhaps the wilderness backpackers who find themselves renewed in the high country or cowboys with souls for the ride and hearts for the rodeo crowd. Young and old alike will find themselves drawn together when they share a yearning for the true west spirit.
