Rob Roy Campground
Laramie | Rockies to Tetons
First come, first served campsites. Elevation 9,500 feet. No trailers over 35 feet. Boat ramp. Open mid-June – Oct. 1.
The campground is comprised of a cascading, tight loop configuration along a hillside among mixed pines. Some sites overlook the Rob Roy Reservoir, but most are tucked into the hillside. Rob Roy Reservoir is 500 acres and is a popular area for boating and water skiing. There are 65 sites that provide tables, fire rings, trash pick-up, and vault toilets. There are facilities nearby in Albany County.
Amenities include boat ramp, tent and RV camping, picnic tables, and vault toilets. No potable water.
Fee is $10/Night for single unit.
Directions from Laramie, take WY 130 west 21.7 miles to WY 11. Turn left onto Rt. 11 and go 13 miles to Albany, WY. Then take Forest Route 500 for 5.6 miles; turn left at sign and go 0.3 miles to campground.
