Open year-round. The Center tells the story of Wyoming’s premier wildlife, the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep, with life-size dioramas, interactive exhibits, films and more. Visit the museum shop and find nature focused gifts.
Winter wildlife viewing tours to the Whiskey Mountain Bighorn Sheep winter range may be scheduled from November to March.

Our Mission:
The National Bighorn Sheep Center is dedicated to educating the public about the biology and habitat needs of the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep and to encouraging the active stewardship of wildlife and wild lands.
Our interpretive Center features dioramas with full-scale taxidermy mounts that recreate the bighorns habitat, interactive exhibits about wildlife management and special adaptations of wild sheep, and wildlife films the whole family will enjoy.
