Sinks Canyon State Park Visitor Center

Located just downstream of the Sinks itself the Sinks Canyon State Park Visitor Center is open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. every day from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
The VC can be opened for school and group tours at other times by booking in advance.
The center has displays on the Natural History of the canyon and surrounding area. Displays include geology, birds of prey, hydrology, wildlife habitats as well archaeology and history. Videos are available on the canyon’s birds, flowers and natural history.
There is a kids corner with activities for children including a viewing scope, coloring corner, please touch table, please touch fossil display and guessing game. Kids can sign up for the Sinks Canyon Junior Ranger program at the visitor center.
Field guides, maps, postcards, magnets, Sinks Canyon T-shirts & hats are for sale in the Visitor Center. All proceeds from sales go directly back into the park.
The visitor center is fully ADA accessible as are the viewing areas for the Sinks and Rise.
