Funding is available for the WOT 2016/2017 Technical Assistance Co-op Program (TACP)

The Wyoming Office of Tourism (WOT) is excited to announce that the 2016/2017 FY round of funding for the Technical Assistance Co-op Program (TACP) is now available.  The TACP is designed to support and facilitate projects that contribute to the development of the tourism industry statewide.  The intent of the TACP is to fund a larger variety of projects that directly support WOT’s strategic areas of focus.
(Examples include: visitor way-finding signage, marketing research initiatives to drive tourism development strategies and the implementation of visitor service or customer service training- Please see the Technical Assistance Co-op Program Guidelines for more details).

In this round of funding, WOT will award up to $5,000 per project based on eligibility.  This Co-op requires a 50% cash match on behalf of the applicant and will be awarded on a reimbursable basis.

Applications are accepted between August 1, 2016 – April 1, 2017 and projects are evaluated upon receipt and awarded until TACP funds are expended.

To Note- WOT requires that anyone who applies for the Co-op program consults with their local tourism authority regarding their project and, in turn, will be required to submit a letter of recommendation from them that shows their support of the project idea.
