Wide Open Roads

The National Parks Region is a place where you check off your bucket list, where you realize cameras could never capture such splendor, where you make memories to last a lifetime.

Wyoming’s northwest corner is home to not one, but two national parks: Yellowstone and Grand Teton. Connected by the John D. Rockefeller Jr. Memorial Parkway, only 30 miles separates these two parks, each offering their own dramatic scenery and unforgettable outdoor adventures. Yellowstone National Park spans over 2 million acres and spills into three different states, 96 percent of which is in Wyoming. With so much land to cover, the list of things to do in Yellowstone is endless. Lakes, waterfalls, wildlife and unique geothermal features make it easy to see why this area became the nation’s first national park. In Grand Teton National Park, the Teton Mountains are the focal point, with the massive, rocky crags making themselves visible at every turn. The area’s alpine lakes, trails and rivers supply access to plenty of hiking, boating, rafting, fishing and climbing. Both parks offer thrills and relaxation, with dining, shopping and lodging available within park borders along with opportunities to camp and explore backcountry terrain.
