Museum focusing on history of Hot Springs County, WY from the pioneer days up through recent events. Two floors of exhibits in the main building as well as an annex of multiple buildings across the street that are unheated including a one-room schoolhouse, agricultural and petroleum buildings, a “poverty shack”, a static display of agricultural equipment and a train caboose. (Annex buildings are closed when the boardwalk is impassable due to snow.)
We have the original Hole In The Wall Bar, a re-creation of Old Town Thermopolis, Yellowstone Stagecoach, Native American displays, geology and mining exhibits, military exhibits as well as rooms and exhibits depicting pioneer life.
