(-107.2528 x 44.1633) NOTE: The drive up US Rt. 16 is steep and curvy. There are ample turnouts to cool the engine if needed. 32 camping sites. Season runs from approximately May 25th – Sept. 20. Elevation is 8,000-feet. Expect cool evenings. Restrooms and drinking water available. No showers, electricity or phones. All spurs 65'. One pull-thru site. The drive up US Rt. 16 affords beautiful vistas of the surrounding mountains. There are turnouts with interesting interpretive signs along the way.
