Speakers Series – Wyomings Wings at War

Casper | Park to Park

Cheyenne, Wyoming, was an active military city during the Second World War. Cheyenne Regional Airport, a central transcontinental air hub, was the home to an Army Air Force B-17 modification center. It was the largest center in the Rocky Mountain region that modified B-17s before overseas service.

Join us on December 3rd as historian Mike Kassel, Associate Director of the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum in Cheyenne shares the history and legacy of the Cheyenne Modification Center.
