GTMF audience favorite James Ehnes returns to perform Bruch 1, a work heralded by its dedicatee as the “richest” and “most seductive” of the great 19th-century violin concertos. Maestro Donald Runnicles will also lead the Festival Orchestra in a portrait of home with Mendelssohn’s “Scottish” Symphony.
