Family Fun Day: Exploring the Casper Army Air Base

Join the Wyoming Veterans Memorial Museum staff and volunteers as we explore the history of the World War II Casper Army Air Base. The Air Base trained over 14,000 people during World War II to fly B-17 and B-24 heavy bombers. Children will learn more about the base and its more than 400 buildings. As a group, we’ll make our own version of the Casper Army Air Base at the Museum. Family Fun Day events are free programs for elementary school aged children and their families. The program is from 10 am to Noon, drop by any time to take part. All participants must be accompanied by an adult.
